A Web Developer is needed to join a well-established digital services company based just a short distance from Leeds. Working with the management team, expect to use cutting-edge technology to deliver an exciting B2B platform for a key client.

For over two decades the business has created lasting and truly beneficial relationships with small and medium-sized businesses throughout the UK and beyond. They are renowned for providing managed IT services and a full portfolio of technical website and custom application development services to clients. Due to continued success, they are now expanding the Digital Services team and are seeking multiple Web Developers. 
This is the perfect role for a Web Developer with good UX/front-end skills but who is equally at home developing custom PHP functionality as they are HTML, CSS, jQuery, and JavaScript features. PHP development experience is essential given the responsibility for translating the project brief and specification into a logical solution. Support will be provided by colleagues to ensure solid foundations to the project as you use your skills to focus on user experience, application logic, usability, and contemporary interface design.
Hybrid working options are available for the right candidates, though the collaborative nature of the work dictates you will attend the office in central Pontefract at least twice a week. There are excellent bus and rail transport links to Pontefract though drivers will benefit from abundant, low-cost local parking. 

To qualify… You should be a Web Developer / JavaScript Developer / PHP Developer / PHP Web Developer or similar with a CV that demonstrates: 
  • Rock solid HTML, CSS and JavaScript
  • Solid PHP development
  • Experience developing in WordPress
  • Proficiency with MySQL
  • The ability to work as part of the team.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
