Best Companies To Work For 2023

Workplace community and job site Glassdoor have announced their “Best Places to Work 2023”. Pooling data from annoymous employee reviews their results paint an interesting picture on who is winning the battle for staff retention and talent attraction.

Most notable moves include the technology company Meta who in 2018 were ranked 4th, in 2022 they had dropped slightly to 10th, but this year they haven’t even made it onto the list!

Compared to five years ago big tech seems to be losing appeal among employees, we’ve known for a while that employees aren’t interested in flashy perks, but these results show that the wider appeal of working in the tech sector could be waning further.

Google topped the chart in 2018, now moving to 7th, Meta were 4th but have disappeared completely and Apple were 9th (Now 36th).
