An Account Director is needed to join a leading healthcare agency in Buckinghamshire, due to a new working from home policy, you will only need to work in the office 2 days a week!! This is a fantastic opportunity for an Account Manager / Senior Account manager, to utilise their medical education experience, and take the next step-up in their career.
With a strong strategic and creative arm to the agency, they are renowned for producing innovative and exciting ideas. Their main strengths include medical education through ALL digital platforms: websites, applications and bespoke on-line tools for HCPs. Due to continued success they are now seeking a talented Account Director to guide and train the junior team. 
Reporting to the Director the Account Director will take full ownership & responsibility for half a dozen accounts.  Supported by Account Executives & Account Managers, you will provide strategic input and play a hands-on role delivering projects such as meetings programmes, symposia, advisory boards, websites, patient materials, sales materials, animations and much more. 
To qualify… You should be an Account Director / Client Director / Client Relationship Director / Senior Account Manager / Account Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates: 
  • Experience in a similar Account Director / Client Director role;
  • Experience within the Medical Educational sector; 
  • Strong management skills; 
  • 2:1 in Biosciences degree or similar;
  • Excellent planning & project management skills;
  • Strong multi-tasking skills and attention to detail;
  • ABPI knowledge is essential;
  • You are a good people manager, with excellent presentation, leadership and business development skills. 
Previous Agency experience would be preferable, we will consider candidates with pharmaceutical marketing experience.
