We are seeking an ambitious, client-focused qualified Accountant to join a leading software solutions provider as a Senior Client Advisor. Expect a varied role where you will utilise your accounting experience to support accounting firms and their staff as they transition into delivering advisory services to small business customers, instilling confidence, and ability at all levels.

They are renowned for building prediction technology and accounting advisory software that helps small businesses make more money! Due to ongoing success, they are now seeking a qualified Accountant / Senior Client Advisor to provide mentoring and training support to accountancy firms. 
As the qualified Accountant / Senior Client Advisor you will provide an immersive and supported learning environment that will give clients (accountancy firms) the tools they need to identify and convert opportunities generating value and revenue for the practice. The portfolios you will manage will be varied and therefore the breadth of experience gained within a practice environment is vital.
You will work closely with each assigned client for at least 6 months attending client meetings, supporting proposal generation, providing recommendations to business owners, and identifying opportunities within the portfolio. Where necessary you may have to provide advisory support directly to the small business to help manage project overspill that may occur as the firm gets its resourcing and capability up to level. 
The accountancy firms you will work with typically have hyper-growth, ambitious clients who are exciting to work with. You will not deliver compliance services or support in the delivery of these services; this is a true 100% advisory-based role.
You can work remotely or from the Head Office in Brighton, you chose. The team is a mix of fully remote and part remote. 
To qualify…You should be an Accountant / Senior Client Advisor / Finance Accountant / Management Accountant or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
  • You are a qualified Accountant (ACA/ ACCA/CIMA) with experience gained in an Accountancy Practice
  • Experience with balance sheet reconciliation, budget and forecast preparation and scenario modelling
  • You can deliver weekly, monthly, quarterly performance analysis
  • Experience of cost review and variance analysis reporting 
  • Experience with Xero and/or QBO with advance Excel skills
  • Portfolio management 
  • Advisory experience
