An ambitious Business Development Manager / Sales Manager is needed to join a rapidly expanding international membership organisation. Expect an exciting role (with superb career progression) growing and retaining membership to an innovative community that specialise in global renewable energy. 
This leading membership business is focused on the global renewable energy markets. Following sustained growth, the team is looking for an experienced, analytical and client focused sales executive to establish meaningful relationships with their prospects and drive sales for their membership and events team. The successful candidate will be a talented Business Development Manager / Sales Manager who is looking to join a fast-growing business and gain a valuable insight into the changing dynamics that exist within the global renewable energy markets. 
Working at the forefront of the business the Business Development Manager / Sales Manager will be responsible for developing new and existing prospects and managing existing memberships. Whether you are building exceptional relationships, understanding member needs through careful research, developing a plan of how to meet these needs, suggesting improvement to their membership offering, ensuring members are on the right membership plan or spotting new opportunities, it will be your fantastic account management skills and sales initiative that drives future membership growth and retention.
To qualify… You should be a Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Sales Account Manager / B2B Sales Manager / Client Membership Manager / Client Services Manager / Account Manager / Membership Account Manager / / Membership Development Manager or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
  • A strong record of performance in membership, sponsorship and consultative sales, exceeding targets and growing accounts year on year
  • Experience in a B2B Account Management role
  • Fantastic attention to detail
  • Strong written and verbal communication
  • A proven ability to manage projects to deadline and work in a small team
  • Knowledge of marketing and brand communication techniques
  • Experience using Hubspot and have a strong digital competency
  • You are confident in building and developing strong senior client relationships
  • Strong account management, project management and organisation skills
  • A good knowledge of marketing, management, budgeting, and planning
  • Excellent negotiating skills, confidence, and discretion
An interest in renewable energy, maritime and financial services markets would be a bonus. 
This is a completely remote role, you can attend the office in London or Oxford if you would like to, but it isn’t required.
