A Case Assistant is needed to join the specialist team of a leading firm of genealogists based in London. This is a fantastic opportunity where you will play a vital role assisting Case Managers in dealing with enquires from Solicitors and other competitive and non-competitive sources.
This reputable genealogy and international probate research firm specialises in tracing beneficiaries and provides a range of services tailored to assist estate administration professionals both within the UK and overseas.
Working at the forefront of the company the Case Assistant can expect a varied role that involves assisting with the daily management of cases, including ordering necessary documents, and serving as a backup for Case Managers when needed. It also entails making phone inquiries to gather information from neighbours, friends, and public bodies to aid in researching the deceased’s family and locating potential beneficiaries. Additionally, the position involves contacting potential beneficiaries to verify claims, promoting the company’s services, and coordinating with colleagues both in and outside the office.
To qualify… Whether you call yourself a Case Assistant / Probate Case Co-Ordinator / Family Tree Researcher / Case Liaison Officer or similar, we don’t mind, your CV just needs to demonstrate:
- Must be a self-motivated, confident, enthusiastic, and a personable individual.
- Good communication skills presentation, verbal, written.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism in building client relationships.
- Good negotiation skills
