An experienced, dynamic, and ambitious Commercial Manager is needed to join a well-established and growing company based in Sevenoaks. Working closely and reporting to the Head of Operations, you will be responsible for commercial and contractual management of various projects, from tendering to the final account.

Working with a specialist team the Commercial Manager plays a key role which involves preparing and issuing payments, managing credit control, completing vesting agreements, maintaining cash flow forecasts, reviewing contracts, negotiating claims, compiling cause-and-effect programs, managing correspondence, maintaining records, managing subcontractors, preparing final accounts, monitoring costs against budgets, providing management and training to less experienced team members, attending meetings, visiting major project sites, and maintaining continuous liaison with Sales and Construction teams. This includes ensuring timely notification of delays and costs, managing correspondence, and ensuring accurate records.

To qualify… You could be a Commercial Manager / Commercial Director/ Commercial Specialist / Commercial Account Manager or similar with a CV which demonstrates the following.

  • A minimum of 5 years experience in Commercial Management or Quantity Surveying, ideally in the lift industry or Construction and infrastructure.
  • Demonstrate successful commercial and contractual management of projects of varying sizes and complexity.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of standard forms of contract, such as JCT and MF/1
  • Demonstrate self-starting/Initiative and willingness to develop further.
  • Be well organised, with the ability to meet challenging deadlines.
  • Possess excellent interpersonal skills and be able to work as part of a team.
