A Group Royalties Manager is needed to join an independent music company based in London. Expect to be primarily responsible for the day to day running of the royalties team and with that the processing and distribution of Label and Artist statements for this global group. 
This role is London based, currently working remotely but to return to the office in a hybrid way from 1st September 2021, 3 days per week minimum in the office.

They are now seeking a Group Royalties Manager to assist in meeting various royalty deadlines and provide royalty information to management for performance analysis.
Reporting to the Head of Royalties the Group Royalties Manager will manage a team of 6 (3 direct reports) to ensure the accurate set-up and maintenance of client data and repertoire royalty conditions within their group royalty system, Counterpoint’s Record Maestro (experience of this would be a bonus, it isn’t essential). Whether you are overseeing the collection and processing of all income streams (physical, digital, neighbouring rights and third-party licensing income), supervising the processing and distribution of monthly and biannual label and artist statements, ensuring accuracy of reporting, leading the analysis of income and reporting streams; improving efficiency or supporting the Head of Royalties with royalty and audit tasks, it will be your excellent management skills that delivers outstanding results.
To qualify… You should be a Group Royalties Manager / Royalties Manager / Royalties Audit Manager / Royalties & Contracts Manager / Data Analytics Royalty Manager or similar, with a CV that demonstrates:
  • Experience of processing royalties.
  • Experience in people managing with multiple direct reports.
  • Experience in designing and implementing royalty processes.
  • Excellent Excel skills.
  • High mathematical standard.
  • You are organised and methodical with good attention to detail.
  • The ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines and work under own initiative.
