A Head of Operations is needed to join one of the worlds most innovative and versatile digital display solutions company based in Farnborough, Hampshire. Working at the forefront of the business the Head of Operations will play a pivotal role in overseeing the day-to-day activities ensuring seamless execution of exhibitions and events.
Founded in 2007 this world-class business has expanded to become leaders in the modular event, exhibition, conference, experiential and retail display space. Managing exciting projects their service spans full 360 developments from concepts and designs through to production, project management and installation. As their Head of Operations expect to join a collaborative team of likeminded industry professionals passionate about delivering unforgettable display experiences.
Acting as a key member of the Senior Management Team the Head of Operations will lead a small team of four reporting managers from warehouse, production, prebuild and install and logistics, guiding them to deliver exceptional results while maintaining the highest standards of efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
Joining an innovative digital display business, the Head of Operations will manage the operations for T3 exhibitions and events, which will require a multi-faceted skill set. This includes having in-depth knowledge of materials and operational processes, strategic leadership to align operations with company objectives, team management, overseeing event logistics, budget and resource management, building strong vendor relationships, ensuring quality control, risk management, collaboration with other departments, continuous process improvement, reporting and analysis, and staying updated on industry trends and technologies.
Success in this role relies on combining expertise in T3 products and operations with effective leadership and strategic planning.
To qualify… You should be a Head of Operations / Director of Operations / Senior Operations Manager / Logistics & Operations Director / Chief of Operations & Logistics or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Proven experience in operations management, preferably in the exhibitions, events, or related industry.
- Demonstrated leadership skills with experience in managing teams and fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to oversee multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective interaction with internal teams, clients, partners, and stakeholders.
- Solid understanding of budgeting, financial management, and cost control principles.
- Proficiency in utilising relevant software and tools for project management, data analysis, and reporting.
- Problem-solving acumen and the ability to make informed decisions under pressure.
- A proactive, adaptable, and results-oriented mindset, driven to achieve operational excellence.
