A Head of Service Delivery with full ITIL Framework insight is needed to join a leading Managed Service provider based in Cheshire. Expect a rewarding role where your focus will be on maintaining, developing and improving value to customers and the business.

For over 30 years, this leading IT Consultancy has developed a service portfolio including private & public cloud provision and full in-house, UK based 24*7 monitoring and operations to all customers. Due to continued success, they are now seeking a talented Head of Service Delivery to join their award-winning team that includes some of the brightest minds in the industry.

Joining as the Head of Service Delivery you will play a key role in all customer service functions, including service delivery, service desk, escalation, incident, problem, change and knowledge management as well as having full responsibility for the budget for the encompassed teams. Whether you are reporting, managing and integrating internal systems, getting involved in tenders and contracts or maintaining ownership of the consolidated service catalogue it will be your ability to hit the ground running that ensures exceptional customer satisfaction across service delivery.

To qualify…you will be a Head of Service Delivery / Head of Service/ Head of Service Management or similar with experience in a managed service provider environment and a CV that demonstrates:

  • Previous Head of Service experience with demonstrable evidence of technology understanding and affinity (ideally having worked for a managed service provider or technology vendor)
  • Prior experience of budget management and control.
  • Management / Leadership experience (less than ten direct reports, but more than 15 indirect reports)
  • A high level of oral and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with senior managers, colleagues and other stakeholders.
  • Evidence of critical thinking, decision making, emotional intelligence and an ability to remain calm in any situation.
  • Highly analytical in problem solving with the ability to apply original and innovative thinking.
  • Highly motivated and ambitious, determined and focused on success, organised, delivery focused with strong time management skills.
  • A current drivers license and be willing to travel as required.
