A Sales Specialist is needed to join a leading charity which provides support, advice, and subject leadership for all those involved in design, technology and engineering education. Expect to play a key role in securing new member companies, corporate members and selling advertising space. In short, you will ensure a high level of new members by providing first class lead generation and sales management.

This exciting charity links schools and students with engineering, manufacturing and creative industries. They are renowned for lobbying government and key decision-makers to ensure that the subjects value is recognised and supported. Due to continued success, they are now looking for a Sales Specialist to join the team.

As the Sales Specialist you will be responsible for creating a pipeline of members by identifying potential Blueprint 1000 member companieswww.blueprint1000.org.uk , potential corporate members, and advertising space buyers for the Association’s publications. You will be responsible for selling these memberships and advertising space, and for promoting the Association and its services to stakeholders, whilst always delivering excellent customer service.

This is a hybrid role. You can work from your home or the office. You will be required to go into the office as and when required.

To qualify… You should be a Sales Specialist / Sales Manager / Sales Executive or have past experience in this or a similar role.

Your CV should demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in a similar sales role.
  • A self-starter, able to create and follow up your own sales pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • You are a proactive, solution provider and problem solver.
  • You are able to work under pressure to strict timelines.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • You are an analytical thinker capable of dealing with complexity and handling multiple tasks.
  • You have a current UK driving licence and have access to a car.
  • You are competent in using Microsoft Office programs.
