An IT Infrastructure Engineer / IT support engineer with full Azure and 365 Cloud insight is needed to join a leading housing association with a reputation for delivering new affordable homes for both rural and urban communities. With hybrid working options available expect a varied role taking lead responsibility for managing the outcome and effectiveness of the service areas and its ongoing development.
With a purpose to create better living solutions for the people and communities of West Wales, this leading housing association currently has over 3000 homes and develops around 150 new homes every year, to meet affordable housing need through a range of tenures such as, for rent, rent to buy or shared ownership. They are now seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer / IT support engineer to join their team.
Joining as the IT Infrastructure Engineer / IT support engineer you will play a key role in all customer service functions, including service delivery, service desk and support, cyber security, compliance, development of new systems, project management and line management as well as reporting and monitoring service area outcomes. Working with 3rd parties and providing unprecedented support it will be your ability to hit the ground running that ensures exceptional customer satisfaction across service areas.
To qualify…you will be a IT Infrastructure Engineer / Digital Systems Lead / IT support engineer / IT Technician / IT operations specialist / IT engineer/ IT helpdesk or similar with experience in AZURE and a CV that demonstrates:
- A relevant degree, qualifications, or extensive experience in a similar role.
- A good knowledge of Azure AD, Azure Cloud Computing, Azure Storage, Azure Remote Desktops, Office 365, CISCO Umbrella, VMware Air Watch, Microsoft Intune, EDR / AV Management, Microsoft applications, Telephony.
- A high level of confidence, you will provide advice, guidance, and training of digital systems to end users.
- You can inspire and motivate your team, creating a working environment where everyone thrives.
- Excellent communication skills, with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Good attention to detail and high personal standards.
Housing sector experience would be desirable to this role as would a professional qualification like Microsoft or CISCO Certifications.
A full UK driving Licence and access to a vehicle is required for this role.
