A Junior Buyer / Assistant Buyer is needed to join a market-leading and award-winning lingerie and swimwear e-tailer. Expect an exciting and varied buying role covering everything from purchasing external brands to making commercial decisions and suggesting future seasonal plans. 
This can be a remote role or working from the Office in Uxbridge (good transport links & parking) you choose. If working remotely you will be expected to attend the office in Uxbridge at least once a month. 
Specialising in the fuller bust from D to K cups their company purpose is to make women feel fabulous about their figure! Having seen huge growth over the past few years, they are now seeking a friendly Junior Buyer / Assistant Buyer to join their passionate and hard-working team, committed to providing the greatest possible customer experience.
Joining as the Junior Buyer / Assistant Buyer you will work closely and collaboratively with the merchandising team assisting with commercial decisions and making suggestions about future seasonal plans as well as supporting the creation of a pricing strategy to optimise margin. On a day-to-day basis you will monitor returning products, reporting back on issues and spotting opportunities to reduce returns, track competitor activity, communicate with external brands / suppliers (UK & Abroad), ensure each brand is represented accurately on the website, oversee the purchase order process, updating the brand supplier list and much more. 
In short you will understand the competitive landscape in promotional activity, knowing the main competitors and bringing knowledge, opportunities, and risks back to the business on a regular basis through trade so you will always be clear on the stock levels required to deliver the budget. 
To qualify… You could be a Junior Buyer / Assistant Buyer / Fashion Buyer / Buying Administrator / Purchasing Assistant / Assistant Category Manager / Buyers Assistant / Buying Assistant or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
  • Experience in a fashion buying and merchandising department
  • You are a rising star, that can take full ownership of the branded buying category
  • You will have good interpersonal and negotiation skills 
  • Good judgement and decision-making skills
  • The ability to work independently
  • Strong organisation skills
  • Excellent multitasking skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • The ability to make decisions quickly and confidently
  •  You are computer literate and able to adapt to new systems quickly and efficiently
  • You have a passion for lingerie and trends.
Any Netsuite and Shopify experience would be a bonus.
