£40 – 50K DOE – UK Wide, Home working
A hands-on .NET Developer / Software Developer (ASP.NET Core / C# / Vue), who can demonstrate both front-end and back-end development, is needed to join an expanding and friendly software house headquartered in Central London.
With major clients that include Veritas, Computacenter and Cognizant, this small software house are pioneers of user-centric service catalog, self-service portal, and request automation solutions; leveraged recently to deliver innovative Backup as a Service capabilities. They employ a highly experienced team who are at their best working with the latest technology on fast moving projects, with clients based in the UK and across the World.
Joining the 10 strong UK-based development team as a full stack Software Developer, you will be primarily working on complex Azure-based projects, using Scrum and Kanban principles. Expect a test-driven environment, where developers usually work in pairs, and are involved with the full lifecycle of a feature’s development; from its initial creation through to delivering all the necessary back-end and front-end components. Using remote collaboration tools, you will work seamlessly with another developer, or debate the latest challenges as a group.
Projects vary depending upon on the product, but always carry a strong self-service usability theme. Current developments have focused on an Azure-based SaaS product, whilst their most successful products have been on premise web applications with integration to partner products.
This is a fully remote role. You will potentially be required to attend the office in London, approx. once every two months.
To qualify, you must be an enthusiastic and knowledgeable full stack Software Developer who can demonstrate:
- .NET and Vue (or other front-end framework).
- Bonus points for TypeScript, SQL, Azure.
- High motivation to deliver quality .NET solutions, based on solid coding standards.
- A willingness to challenge the status quo, with both customers and internal teams.
- A keen interest in design, UX, Accessibility, and Unit Testing.
- Keen to explore and learn new technologies and methodologies, with an attitude of self-learning and continuous improvement.
- Happy working in an Agile, pair programming environment.
We would also love to hear from Junior .NET Developers who have a good understanding of Vue and would love to learn more .NET.
This is a great opportunity to join their team who develop some very forward-thinking software; they have a great attitude towards work and will get stuck-in as a team. Their ethos is to work hard, but a good work-life balance is essential to how they’ve been successful for well over 20 years. In return, you can expect a fantastic benefits package that includes Personal Pension Plan, Life Assurance, Income Protection, Critical Illness Scheme, your birthday off, a tech budget, online training courses and much more.
