A PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP), who has knowledge of Laravel,  is needed to join a leading cloud based SAAS provider. Working in an exciting start-up environment expect to have a real impact and contribute to the overall workflow of the team.

This role can be full-time remote or a mixture of working from home and from their office in Manchester, it is up to you. 
Boasting clients such as Network Rail, Mailchimp and Parkrun this leading social value tool is trusted by companies around the world to measure and evaluate social value, social impact and sustainability.  It is an easy-to-use, cloud-based SaaS, that automatically converts social projects into meaningful, accurate, and reliable social value data. They are now seeking a PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP) to join their small, talented team. 
The successful PHP Developer / Software Developer (SQL / PHP) will be someone who wants to become an integral member of a small development team and who has experienced developing on a large application.
After a busy 12 months, the team are in a great situation maturing their SaaS platform. They are now looking to scale and begin work on new larger pieces of development. You should be interested in working within this type of environment, where you will spend time improving the performance of their SaaS, as well as prototyping new ideas to make sure they are always providing the best product they can for customers. 
To qualify… You should be a Mid to Senior PHP Developer / SQL Developer / Software Developer / Web Developer / PHP Web Developer or similar with a CV that demonstrates: 
  • Strong experience in PHP and MySQL;
  • Experience with a modern PHP framework;
  • Experience working on a large application;
  • Experience with PHPUnit testing;
  • Experience with Github/ Bitbucket and CD/CI pipelines.
Any experience with the following would be fantastic, but not essential:
  • Knowledge of Laravel;
  • Knowledge of AWS EB, EC2 Linux, RDS MySQL, ElastiCache Redis, S3;
  • Knowledge of Vue.js.
