A Project Manager / Operations Manager, who understands the level of detail and client interaction required for high end residential projects, is needed to join an award-winning Interior Design Partnership who have an excellent reputation for producing bespoke designs. You will play a key role managing the non-creative aspect of projects within the company. This will require working closely with the designers, purchasers, the design director and in some cases the clients.
Flexible home working is available for this role, it is expected that you will attend the office in Ashford (just a 5-minute walk from the station) 3 days a week. The role requires you to be time and location flexible as you will travel to the projects, and occasionally stay abroad. You will need a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.

Due to continued success, they are now seeking a Project Manager / Operations Manager who has a practical understanding of project management ideally with some form of design / construction background, to join their talented team.
Working closely with the Design Director the Project Manager / Operations Manager will be responsible for creating project schedules and budgets, working up timelines based on project size whilst managing the team as a whole to ensure all aspects of each project are coordinated and communicated efficiently. You will be key in ensuring all projects are correctly resourced with staff and freelancers. On a day-to-day basis you will deal efficiently and effectively with contractors, designers, purchasers and logistical staff whilst consistently monitoring the development of the projects. This is a new role for the team and as such they are open and excited for the right person to bring in and implement new technical methods, solutions, and systems to help with the reactive workload.
To qualify… You should be a Project Manager / Operations Manager / Project Coordinator / Workflow Manager / Ops Manager / PM or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Experience in a similar role with some knowledge of architecture and interior design
- First class knowledge on how to run a project from conception to completion is essential.
- An organised outlook and an ambitious personality.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Accuracy and attention to detail.
- Organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks.
- You are strong minded with strong business sense, and you understand the importance of deadlines and structure.
