A Sales and Business Development Manager with strong experience is needed to join a taxi and executive service based in Surbiton. Joining a friendly team, you will be a natural leader with a proven track record in driving sales, building client relationships, and achieving revenue targets. This role requires a strategic thinker who can navigate complex sales processes and effectively manage key accounts.

For three decades this company have been providing a trusted private hire and executive private hire service to businesses, organisations, and individuals. From their offices in Surbiton and Walton on Thames, they operate a fleet of over 100 quality vehicles including saloons, MPVs, executive and wedding cars.

Joining as a Sales and Business Development Manager your primary responsibilities involve devising and executing effective sales strategies to surpass revenue targets, discerning market trends, and identifying new business prospects. You’ll establish enduring relationships with key clients, acting as their primary point of contact, while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional customer service. New business development through market research and presentations to potential clients is a key focus, alongside providing guidance and support to the sales team and fostering seamless communication with internal departments. Your role also encompasses sales forecasting, reporting, and leading negotiations for contracts, all while closely collaborating with the operations team to guarantee the successful delivery of services.

To qualify…you will be a Sales and Business Development Manager / Strategic Accounts Manager / Sales Operations Leader / Business Development Lead or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Bachelors degree in business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as an Account/Sales Manager with a successful sales track record.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
  • Proficient in CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
  • Excellent negotiation and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience in the taxi and executive industry is desirable.
