A Sales and Business Development Executive, who has some experience of exhibition or sponsorship sales is needed to join a formidable global events and market development company. Expect to play a vital role pitching and selling events to clients in the international Aerospace and Defence industry. 

Founded in 2003 this impressive global events and market development company has earned an enviable reputation for delivering effective, engaging and goal-oriented events across North America, Europe, Middle East, Asia and Australia for the Aerospace and Defence industry.  They are now seeking a driven and ambitious Sales and Business Development Executive who is looking to step into the Aerospace and Defence environment.

Joining as the Sales and Business Development Executive you will be responsible for pitching to senior decision makers and closing sales from global organisations. Whether you are building and maintaining relationships, suggesting ways to enhance clients experience and expenditure; identifying opportunities, working towards both short and long-term targets, or assisting in the delivery of successful customer focused events it will be your ambitious nature and excellent communications skills that drives sales. 

You will be expected to attend events as and when required (on average, three events per year).


To qualify… You should be a Sales and Business Development Executive / New Business Development Manager / Sales Manager / Exhibition Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Business Development Executive / Sales Executive / New Business Exec / Sales Manager / Event Sales Manager / Account Manager or similar looking to build a career within an exciting company. In more detail, your CV should demonstrate:

  • Some exhibition and sponsorship sales experience
  • A solid sales process and/or previous sales training
  • Strong business acumen and commercial awareness
