SALES ENGINEERING MANAGER (WATER SOLUTIONS)

A Sales & Engineering Manager, with B2B and B2C sales and engineering experience in Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca water filtration sectors , is needed to join a leading water solutions consumer brand. This newly created role, which will see you develop a strategic plan for all relevant sales channels, allow you to build channel plans and the freedom to build and develop a team around you.
With a mission to create the world`s best solutions for making water of the highest quality available to every person on Earth, this internationally recognised brand is renowned for being experts both in home and commercial water filtration. With exciting expansion plans on the horizon, they are now seeking a dynamic Sales & Engineering Manager to drive sales, understand customer needs and take the lead launching their brand into the Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca water filtration sectors. 
Working closely with the Managing Director the Sales Manager will take full strategic control for sales and marketing whilst developing key account relationships. On a day-to-day basis you will develop a nationwide distributor / dealer network; identify growth opportunities; define customer business objectives; develop business strategies; assist with the UK eCommerce strategy and anything else necessary to champion a commercial sales culture that breaks into the Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca water filtration sectors, driving sales, delivery and growth of market share. In short, you will be an experienced sales professional, highly motivated, with entrepreneurial spirit and an innovative approach.  
Due to the nature of the role, it is essential that you have a full UK Driving Licence. This is 100% remote working role, you are expected to be mobile and visiting new customers regularly. You will have worked in the Water Solutions industry before with excellent all round knowledge of the key sales channels.
To qualify… You should be a Sales Engineering Manager / Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca Sales Manager / Business Development Manager / Sales & Category Manager / Sales Professional or similar with a CV that demonstrates: 
  • Experience in a similar Sales Engineering role ideally within Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca water filtration sectors (but relatable experience will be considered)
  • B2B & B2C direct sales experience;
  • You are dynamic, energetic, articulate, charismatic, self-motivated and results focused with strong business and organisational skills
  • You are extremely ambitious with the drive to see your strategy through to delivery
  • The ability to make fast decisions in a test and learn environment
  • The ability to intelligently challenge convention, influence decisions, and drive change
  • Experience in implementing processes and strategy
  • You are entrepreneurial, creative and committed to continuous improvement
  • An understanding of marketing communications and channels
  • Ability to manage budgets and drive toward KPIs
  • You will define and drive customer category-specific business objectives, develop channel-specific category business plans, strategies, and goals; identifying growth opportunities based on a deep dive understanding of the Whole home, Professional and/or Horeca water filtration sectors.
