A Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager is needed to join a market-leading and award-winning lingerie and swimwear e-tailer. Expect an exciting role covering buying, merchandising, product profitability and inventory planning.
This can be a remote role or working from the Office in Uxbridge (good transport links & parking) you choose. If working remotely you will be expected to attend the office in Uxbridge at least once a month.
Specialising in the fuller bust from D to K cups their company purpose is to make women feel fabulous about their figure! Having seen huge growth over the past few years, they are now seeking a Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager to join their passionate and hard-working team, committed to providing the greatest possible customer experience.
Reporting to the Managing Director the Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager will direct the day-to-day activities of the Buying and Merchandise team, whilst being responsible for delivering choice to consumers in shape, size, colour, price to continually improve the customer shopping journey. On a day-today basis you can expect to utilise your knowledge of best sellers, product returns rates, final selling margin and product rate of sale to collaborate with the leadership team to procure a range of internal and external products, ensure that the right inventory is available at the right time, monitor product categories to ensure that procurement is at its optimum, monitor performance of the external brands and anything else necessary to deliver product profitability.
To qualify… You could be a Senior Buying and Merchandising Manager / Senior Buyer / Senior Merchandiser / Product Manager / Merchandising Manager / Merchandiser / Category Merchandiser / Stock Manager / Stock Planner or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
- Experience in a similar Buying / Merchandising role, ideally within a fashion brand
- The ability to lead a team
- Excellent forecasting and analytical abilities
- You are commercially minded, creative, numerate and PC literate
- Superb attention to detail
- Excellent planning and organisational skills
- Excellent communication, interpersonal and negotiation
- The ability to build relationships and work to deadlines.
- You have a passion for lingerie and trends.
