A Higher Education Administrator and Senior Examinations Officer is needed to join a specialist independent Higher Education provider which also offers Further Education courses for the Performing Arts. Working from their Manchester College expect to play a key role in the smooth running of the administration and exams function. 
With over 35 years’ experience in helping students launch successful careers in the creative industry. Our client is the largest and leading provider of contemporary music education in Europe. Due to exciting growth, they are now seeking a Higher Education Administrator and Examinations Officer who is looking to take the next step up into a Senior role and is well versed in excel, data manipulation and has strong organisational skills to meet exam related deadlines.
Reporting to the Head of Education, the Higher Education Administrator and Examinations Officer will use their well-honed skills from their admin, exams, or education background to manage the exams and admin team. Whether you are arranging meetings / appointments, taking minutes, greeting visitors, preparing agendas, managing exam data, overseeing exam submissions, sending correspondence to students or managing all documentation it will be your excellent organisation skills that ensures all exam procedures run smoothly.  

To qualify… You should be a Higher Education Administration and Examinations Officer / HE Administrator / Data & Exam Officer / College Exam Officer / Exams Officer / Education Administrator or similar with a CV that demonstrates: 
  • Excellent Microsoft Office applications; accurate word processing and data entry skills.
  • Excellent administrative skills in the preparation, analysis and reporting of student achievement.
  • Excellent communication skills and telephone manner with clients.
  • Minute-taking skills. 
  • Excellent verbal and written skills.
  • The ability to prioritise and manage own time effectively, whilst being methodical and well-organised.
  • The ability to take initiative and responsibility. 
Any experience of working in administration and exams within an education environment would be a bonus as would an awareness of issues in Higher Education and Quality Assurance requirements, the ability to identify areas for improvement in administrative systems and propose solutions, experience of leading a team within an educational/administrative department, a degree and knowledge of music / music industry.
