A Systems Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer with Microsoft 365 (Azure, Tenancy migration, SharePoint) experience is needed to join an exciting managed IT services company with offices in London and Bristol. As their Systems Engineer expect an exciting opportunity to progress your career.
With industry recognised accreditations, some very talented people, a wide range of services and a proven managed IT service methodology, this leading supplier has been delivering exception customer support for over 20 years. They are now looking to find an experienced, technically minded Systems Engineer to join the growing team in Bristol.  
Joining as the Systems Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer you will provide a technical interface with both employees and customers to efficiently assess and analyse I.T related issues. As well as working with the support team to handle and resolve support tickets, you will also be responsible for providing support and guidance for 1st line engineers, receiving, and dealing with issue escalations and managing escalations to vendors and suppliers.
In more detail the Systems Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer will:
  • Troubleshoot customer issues via telephone, email, remote connection or on-site
  • Install applications on customers’ computers
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of knowledge of customer systems
  • Work alongside other team members
  • Provide orientation to new users of existing and innovative technology
  • Execute and review preventative maintenance measures
  • Ensure customer satisfaction
  • Scope, plan, deliver and document customer IT projects
Hybrid working options are available, depending on work assigned. Due to the nature of the role you will need to have a full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle to attend client sites.
To qualify… You could be a Systems Engineer / 3rd Line Support Engineer / Infrastructure Systems Engineer / Third Line Support Engineer / Infrastructure Engineer / MS365 Engineer / Microsoft 365 Engineer or similar, we don’t mind, your CV just needs to demonstrate: 
  • In depth Microsoft 365 (Azure, Tenancy migration, SharePoint) knowledge
  • Desktop, Server O/S and application support experience
  • Experience with Microsoft Windows 10 and 11, Microsoft Server 2019 and Apple MAC OSX
  • Installation and configuration of PC applications and hardware
  • IT and/or Microsoft qualifications
  • Experience of providing best practice service desk support
  • You are a self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritise workload
  • Excellent communications skills (verbal and written)
  • An excellent understanding of Cyber Security
