A Trainee Accountant / Associate, who has bookkeeping and some accounts preparation experience, is needed to join a rapidly expanding practice that specialises in providing accounting, taxation, and advisory services to a client base consisting of individuals and businesses, primarily within the music, entertainment, and sport industries. Candidates should either be in the final stages of their AAT qualifications or early stages of ACCA qualifications.

Due to their continuous success, they are now seeking a Junior Accountant / Associate who is very confident with double entry bookkeeping to join their London team.
The firm is looking for a dynamic Trainee Accountant to assist in preparing accounts on a varied portfolio of clients in their Audit and Financial Reporting Department.  On a day-to-day basis expect to assist in the preparation of financial statements, Corporation, and Self-Assessment Tax Returns (experience of preparing accounts under FRS 105 and FRS 102 is essential). Occasionally you will assist with prepping and submitting VAT returns, monthly payroll, pensions submissions, management accounts, tour reports and client liaison. To qualify… You should be a Trainee Accountant / Junior Accountant / Associate / Bookkeeper or similar with a CV that demonstrates:
  • You are highly numerate and very confident with double-entry bookkeeping. 
  • You have previously prepared Statutory Accounts, Corporation Tax Returns, Personal Tax Returns and VAT Returns etc.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Great attention to detail.
  • The ability to work on your own and as part of a team.
  • Microsoft Office (including Excel, Word and Outlook) skills are essential.
