As the old saying goes, if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it — For more than 25 years a Polish Mechanics have been using an original Commodore 64 on a day to day basis to balance camshafts, log issues and store client records (to a 5.25″ floppy disk).

Based in Gdansk, their workshop is how you would imagine, open to the elements, extremely cold in the winter and in need of a good clean. Defying all the odds, this C64 is determined not to break – “the computer has shrugged off plenty of abuse over the years, it’s been soaked by rain coming in a nearby open window and most likely shat on by birds.”

As another old saying goes “they don’t make ’em like they used too”.
