Using data gathered from Gallup World Polls, the Happiness At Work Report highlights some key insight spanning job satisfaction levels, unemployment dynamics, employee engagement, subject wellbeing, job types and more – this is a must read for the data hungry Employer / HR Professional in you.

Compiled by employment and happiness experts Jan Emmanuel De Neve (University of Oxford) and George Ward (Institute for Work and Employment Research & MIT) their findings show that those  in Latin America & Caribbean territories have the highest employee engagement levels (Middle East & North Africa the lowest) and Professional Writers and Senior Execs are most satisfied with their jobs (Farmers and Construction Workers the least).

In the overall happiness chart Norway has jumped from 4th place in 2016 to 1st place this year, followed by Denmark, Iceland and Switzerland in a tightly packed bunch.
