To qualify: You should be a Senior Temporary Works Engineer / Experience Temporary Works Engineer / Temporary Works Solution Engineer / Temporary Works Planning Engineer or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in engineering a range of temporary works solutions.
  • A HNC, Bachelors, or Masters degree in a Civil Engineering subject.
  • Membership in ICE or IStructE (working towards chartered status).
  • A comprehensive understanding of temporary works design solutions and fundamental engineering principles; familiar with FEA software packages.
  • The ability to value engineer and understand the economic impact on client costs.
  • You can work independently and have excellent time management skills.
  • A strong ability to visualise and clearly communicate solutions.
  • You are confident and professional in team and client interactions.
  • You are capable of managing projects from inception to completion, including preparing quotes, writing design briefs, and setting goals.
  • Experience in developing and managing an office client base, mentoring graduate engineers, and overseeing staff performance.
