A Workshop Supervisor is needed to join a multi award winning creative design and manufacture company based in Newhaven. As the Workshop Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing the daily operations of their manufacturing workshop, ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards are consistently met.

Joining as the Workshop Supervisor, you will lead and motivate the workshop team, providing guidance and training to enhance productivity. In your daily responsibilities, you will skilfully oversee production schedules, guaranteeing the implementation of quality control procedures and optimal resource allocation. Enforce safety regulations, monitor inventory levels, and foster a synergy with other departments for a workshop that not only runs smoothly but thrives.

To qualify…
You could be a Workshop Supervisor / Workshop Foreperson/ Production Manager / Manufacturing Coordinator / Operations Supervisor / Fabrication Supervisor or similar with a CV that demonstrates:

  • Experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or workshop environment.
  • An understanding of workshop operations, including knowledge of woodworking, metalwork, and other relevant processes.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent organisational and time-management abilities.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices.
  • Effective communication skills to liaise with internal teams and external partners.
  • Problem-solving mindset and the ability to make decisions under pressure.

This is a full-time office-based role, 8.00am 17.00pm: Monday to Friday, some overtime hours, mornings, evenings, and weekends will be required in busy periods. Free Parking on site.
