A Youth Events Coordinator, who has an interest / background in sports, is needed to join one of Britain’s most prestigious private members clubs on a permanent basis. Under the direct supervision of the Head of Member Events, you will assume a central role in crafting unforgettable experiences. These encompass a wide spectrum of activities, spanning from drama and dancing to arts and crafts, a diverse array of sporting endeavours, and engaging educational activities.

Please be aware that flexibility is key, as some evening and weekend work will be required to ensure the success of the events. Time off in lieu will be provided for these additional hours. Due to the events taking place mostly during school holidays, it is expected that you dont take annual leave during the school holidays. Hybrid working 1 day a week from home is on offer.

Situated in 42 acres of landscaped grounds adjacent to the River Thames in Fulham, the Club is recognised as one of the worlds finest private member clubs. Since its opening in 1869, the Clubs croquet and tennis lawns, botanical gardens and stately Georgian Clubhouse have made it a sought-after destination for exclusive sporting and social activities.

Reporting directly to the Head of Member Events, the Youth Events Coordinator will assist in the management of social events for young members, as well as providing support to other club events when necessary. From developing and coordinating a myriad of activities to providing attentive chaperoning at exclusive events, your responsibilities will be as dynamic as they are rewarding.

To qualify… You should be a Youth Events Coordinator / Events Planner / Children Event Organiser / Kids Activity Coordinator or similar with a CV that can demonstrate:

  • Experience in events management ideally with children.
  • Full event experience covering event operations and admin.
  • Day to day management of events.
  • A background or an interest in sports.
  • Strong teamworking skills, you can work independently and collaboratively.
  • You have a positive, enthusiastic attitude towards engaging with youth and children.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with various stakeholders.
  • Effective organisational abilities, you can manage multiple projects.
  • Creativity and adaptability to develop an innovative youth event programs.
  • You embody the Club values, excellence, responsibility, and courtesy.

This role is subject to satisfactory Disclosure and Barring Service check results, via a DBS status check.
